Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Megaphone website, iOS app, subscriptions, content, and related services (together, the “Services”). By using the Services or purchasing a subscription, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms. If you use Megaphone for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization. You are responsible for safeguarding your device and account credentials and for activity under your account.

Subscriptions and billing

Web purchases

Subscriptions purchased from joinmegaphone.com are sold through RevenueCat Billing, with payment processing provided by Stripe. You must provide a valid payment method. RevenueCat manages the web subscription record, Megaphone Pro entitlement, redemption link, lifecycle emails, and web customer portal.

Annual plan and seven-day trial

The annual plan is $99.99 per year before applicable taxes. Eligible new subscribers receive a seven-day free trial. A payment method is required when you begin the trial. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the payment method will be charged $99.99 plus applicable taxes when the seven-day trial ends, and the subscription will renew automatically each year at the then-current price until canceled.

Monthly plan and seven-day trial

The monthly plan is $24.99 per month before applicable taxes. Eligible new subscribers receive a seven-day free trial. A payment method is required when you begin the trial. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the payment method will be charged $24.99 plus applicable taxes when the seven-day trial ends, and the subscription will renew automatically each month at the then-current price until canceled.

Weekly plan and seven-day trial

The weekly plan is $9.99 per week before applicable taxes. Eligible new subscribers receive a seven-day free trial. A payment method is required when you begin the trial. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the payment method will be charged $9.99 plus applicable taxes when the seven-day trial ends, and the subscription will renew automatically each week at the then-current price until canceled.

The free trial is intended for customers who have not previously purchased in this RevenueCat project. Because anonymous web checkout may not identify prior purchase history before checkout, eligibility may not always be fully determined in advance. RevenueCat and Megaphone may deny, shorten, revoke, or charge for a trial where prior use, abuse, fraud, or ineligibility is identified, as permitted by law.

Apple in-app purchases

A subscription purchased inside the iOS app is billed and managed by Apple under Apple’s terms, prices, refund rules, and subscription-management tools. Apple-billed purchases are distinct from web subscriptions. The prices or available offers may differ by channel. Apple does not manage a web purchase made through RevenueCat Billing.

Automatic renewal and cancellation

Subscriptions continue and renew automatically until canceled. For a web subscription, use the secure RevenueCat customer-portal link provided in RevenueCat subscription emails or contact admin@joinmegaphone.com for help accessing it. Cancel before the next charge or before a trial ends. Cancellation stops future renewals but generally does not remove access already paid for. For an Apple-billed subscription, cancel through your Apple ID subscription settings.

Redemption and app access

After a web purchase, RevenueCat provides a redemption link on its hosted confirmation screen and by email. Open a valid link on the iPhone where you use Megaphone. The app will ask RevenueCat to associate the web purchase with the customer identity used by the app and then refresh the Megaphone Pro entitlement. Redemption links may expire, may be single-use, and must not be shared. If a link expires, use the newest link sent to the purchase email or contact support. You are responsible for entering an accurate email address at checkout.

Prices, taxes, and changes

Displayed prices exclude applicable sales, use, value-added, or similar taxes unless stated otherwise. Taxes may be calculated based on billing information and applicable law. We may change prices or plan features prospectively. Any required notice will be provided through the applicable billing channel. Continuing a subscription after a price change takes effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.

Refunds

Except where required by law, charges are non-refundable and we do not provide credits for partially used billing periods. For a web purchase, contact admin@joinmegaphone.com; refund requests may be evaluated and processed through RevenueCat Billing or Stripe as applicable. For an Apple-billed purchase, request any refund directly from Apple because Megaphone cannot issue Apple transaction refunds.

Acceptable use

You may use the Services only lawfully. You may not interfere with the Services; bypass access, usage, or payment controls; share or resell subscription access; reverse engineer the Services except where law permits; upload malware; violate another person’s privacy or intellectual-property rights; impersonate others; or use the Services to create unlawful, deceptive, abusive, or harmful content.

Your content

You retain ownership of content you submit or create. You grant Megaphone a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, reproduce, and transmit that content only as needed to provide, secure, and improve the Services. You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed for the content and that your use complies with law.

AI-generated output

Megaphone may use artificial intelligence to help create scripts or other output. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or similar to output provided to others. Review and edit output before using or publishing it. You are responsible for your final content and decisions based on it. Do not rely on AI output as legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice.

Sharing to third-party platforms

If you choose Share to TikTok, you direct Megaphone to hand the exported video you selected to TikTok through TikTok Share Kit. You control whether to continue and publish inside TikTok. Your use of TikTok and any content you publish there are governed by TikTok’s Terms of Service and other applicable TikTok policies. Megaphone is not sponsored or endorsed by TikTok.

Intellectual property

Except for your content, Megaphone and its licensors own the Services, software, branding, designs, and related intellectual property. These Terms provide a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the Services; they do not transfer ownership.

Availability and termination

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features and may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect the Services, comply with law, address nonpayment or fraud, or enforce these Terms. If we terminate a paid Service without cause, we will provide any remedy required by applicable law.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation, or particular results. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Megaphone and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or lost profits, revenues, data, or goodwill. Megaphone’s aggregate liability arising from the Services will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid Megaphone for the Services during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so portions of this section may not apply to you.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which Megaphone’s operating entity is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where consumer-protection law in your place of residence requires otherwise. Courts with jurisdiction over that operating entity will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights you have under applicable law.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will post updated Terms here and change the effective date. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide additional notice where required. Your continued use after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance.
